In order to have the most complete offering of Marcellus and Utica oil and gas leases, it is important to have feet on the ground monitoring the fringe counties of these productive plays. Over the past few months, Apollo Mapping, in conjunction with our Pennsylvania-based partner Surfside Abstracting/Jim Bourbeau Land Service , has recorded increased leasing active in Columbia County, Pennsylvania and Crawford County, Ohio. Columbia County is located at the eastern edge of the Marcellus Shale next to productive acreage in Luzerne and Lycoming, PA; while Crawford County is located in the Utica Shale next to productive acreage in Huron and Richland, OH.

As such, we are proud to announce the addition of both Blair County, PA and Crawford County, OH to the most comprehensive database of Marcellus-Utica leases available. With the addition of these counties, the leasehold database now contains 132 counties covering every productive acre of the Marcellus and Utica Shale basins. Both Columbia and Crawford County leaseholds are ready for immediate delivery.

Our leases are updated at least once every other week with weekly updates to more than a third of the counties. We track and update the key attributes that impact energy development decisions including lessee, lessor, lease expiration dates, royalty and bonus payments as well as formation specific and top leased tracts.
